Mike attributes much of his success in his stellar career to heart-centered leadership. It enabled and empowered him to reach the role of VP Global Commercial at Thermo Fisher Scientific Chemical Analysis Division which entailed a $900M portfolio serving a broad range of markets including, life sciences, environmental monitoring, process monitoring, food safety, mining, homeland security and metals production. He served the company for 31 years through progressive roles that also include international marketing, and sales operations.
Marketing excellence is where Mike enjoys most of his time and focus. He has direct experience implementing phase-gated processes for product development and new product introduction processes that are structured, strategic, systematic, and scalable.
Mike has extensive knowledge in building a broad range of go-to-market strategies from the ground up that lead to commercial excellence. He excels in establishing 3rd party channel partner and OEM agreements. He builds campaigns to drive lead generation and demand generation and designs strategies supported by metrics, sales quotas and discount structures to hold commercial teams accountable.
